We have designed and developed our own bespoke ignition kit that combats the issues which plague the Mazda components. Over the years and 1000’s of sets, completing together tens of thousands of miles, we have worked with our manufacturers to change and redesign each component of the kit to suit the demands made of it by the Mazda RX-8. Built around the LS2 D585 ignition coil design, our kit offers a more potent ignition spark for a more complete combustion.

And for those a little more power orientated we have found, after back to back testing on our and other Dyno’s, that our kit with a dwell time remap actually allows the production of between 5 and 8 MORE wheel horsepower consistently. Making it one of the cheapest ways to actually increase the power output of your RX-8.
The Rotary Revs D585 Ignition Kit comes pre-built with a specially designed set of Magnecor Ignition Leads and our unique design Coil Bracket both of which are available in a choice of colours (see the photo gallery below). The necessary wiring loom adaptor and our own specially designed and manufactured Ignition Coils.
We are so completely confident in this upgrade kit that we are proud to offer a lifetime warranty on it too! This means, should you ever have any issues with the kit you need only send it back to us for a diagnostic and if a fault is found with any part we will fix it and return the kit to you free of charge …along with the cost of your postage to get the kit back to us for testing.
